How I use cookies and local storage
The website stores one necessary preference in local storage to remember your cookie choice. With your consent, I use Google Analytics 4, measurement ID G-YX20MS8DQS, to understand visitor numbers, useful pages and navigation through the website.
Google Analytics is implemented using basic consent mode: its script does not load and no analytics information is sent to Google until you choose “Accept analytics”. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalisation remain disabled.

Google Analytics
When accepted, Google Analytics may collect page views, interaction events, session information, approximate location, browser and device information and online identifiers. Google may process an IP address while providing the service. I configure the tag without Google Signals or advertising personalisation, and I do not send names, email addresses or a user ID.
Analytics processing is based on consent. Rejecting analytics will not affect your access to the website. Further information is available in Google’s privacy policy.
Change your choice
You can accept, reject or withdraw analytics consent at any time using “Cookie settings” in the footer. Rejecting after previously accepting updates the consent state and removes the first-party Google Analytics cookies that this site can access. You can also clear website data using your browser settings.
